2009 Festival of Jewish Cinema
This year sees the 20th Anniversary of the Festival of Jewish Cinema.
The Melbourne season runs from 12-29 November, and will be screening at ACMI, Federation Square and the Classic Cinema, Elsternwick.
To celebrate the anniversary, a selection of films from past festivals will screen along with both new feature films and documentaries. Included in the festival are Inside Hana's Suitcase, a child's perspective of the Holocaust, Eyes Wide Open, a story of forbidden love, and the documentaries Being Jewish in France and Wrong Side of the Bus.
