Monty Python - Almost The Truth (The Lawyer's Cut)

Would it be way too corny to suggest that this is the "holy grail" of Monty Python documentaries. It doesn't matter, I'll say it anyway, because it quite simply is the most satisfying Monty Python release to date.
Along with a number of comic sketch gems (The Parrot Sketch, Ministry of Silly Walks and The Spanish Inquisition among them), this release contains a number of in-depth interviews with surviving members of the troupe collectively known as Monty Python (or Monty Pith-on, as they were referred to in one of their own recordings).
Exactly how they became aware of each other, and eventually formed a comedy troupe is as fascinating as their comic legacy is pervasive. One slightly sad omission is that of Connie Booth, who had small roles in the Monty Python series, and who, married to John Cleese, went on to co-write and star as Polly in, Fawlty Towers. She has been steadfast in maintaining her silence regarding all matters Cleese-related.
Nevertheless, look on the bright side of life (groan), and prepare to submerge yourself in literally hours of Monty Python facts and fun.
