A Complete History Of My Sexual Failures

What better for a “filmmaker” with a stalling career, to turn to egography. It worked for American maverick filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, whose forays into feature film making were unsuccessful, and who embarked, instead, on a documentary project, Super Size Me, featuring himself, in which he ate only McDonald’s food in an experiment to determine how healthy fast food really is (or isn’t). It’s comparatively inexpensive to produce such a film, and has enabled Spurlock to be able to make a living from his non-fiction film and television projects, despite having initially intended to be a feature filmmaker. In fact, people aren’t generally even aware of his professional training as a filmmaker, and presume that he is some sort of “Joe Average” who took it upon himself to investigate America’s fast food culture, and who subsequently became a popular documentary maker.

British “filmmaker” Chris Waitt has had no such professional training. In fact, he is a failed “musician”. But his approach is somewhat similar, in that he set out to make a film in which he is the protagonist, the subject matter is readily accessible, and which is also relatively cheap to make. Whether he will be able to sustain a career in this field remains to be seen. In the meantime, he has produced a hilarious, cringingly candid exploration of Waitt’s previous love affairs
