60's TV Themes

What we hear, when we watch one of our beloved 1960's TV shows, is usually around 30 seconds of either an instrumental theme, or, in the case of composers such as Vic Mizzy, some sort of jingle with lyrics that provide an overview of the back-story of the series.
This Silva Screen goes beyond the 30-second grab, to include entire themes written for many of the most popular TV series of the 1960's, which means that the tracks go for at least a couple of minutes, or even longer. It's interesting to hear how the kernel of the theme we hear in the opening or closing credits, has been incorporated into a larger and universally more appealing, piece of music.
Also noteworthy, is that this collection includes trans-Atlantic TV themes: the United States and Great Britian are represented here. (For a comprehensive anthology of American TV Theme Music, see this recording).
So, throw a dinner party, invite your friends over, pop on the CD, and play "Guess the TV Show".
