Easy Virtue

Kristin Scott-Thomas is a chameleon: stunning in whatever she does, and it's not difficult to have a soft spot for Colin Firth, even if it is a vestige from his days as Mr Darcy (Pride and Prejudice). But Jessica Biel just doesn't seem to be able to break out of her Mary Camden (Seventh Heaven TV series) "errant daughter" mode.

Perhaps that's why this film didn't do so well upon its theatrical release. Nevertheless, the music is fabulous (yes, even the tracks performed by Biel).

Set in the late 20's/early 20's, the soundtrack vividly captures the carefree joie de vivre of the time (for those in privileged social classes, of course).

The only disappointment in this soundtrack, is that there are no tracks featuring the talented tones of Ms Scott Thomas.
