Englishby, a British composer, whose previous work includes Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day and Ten Minutes Older (in addition to a catalogue of scores for theatre productions), is, at the time of writing this review, composing music for an upcoming release of Hamlet, starring David Tennant.
It is with great anticipation that we await Hamlet, as it is bound to be quite different, in style, from the charming, whimsical music written for An Education.
This year, his score for Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day received the coveted ASCAP (American Society of Composers and Authors).
